Everything started from the purchase of this vineyard, an old "Alberello impupato" tree of Nero d'Avola, on calcareous soil slightly exposed to the South, with a density of 7,000 vines / ha. In the vineyard there are many varieties of fruit trees, from pomegranate trees to the apricot trees and a large palm tree, which used to indicate the presence of a well. The deep roots of these vines over fifty years of age, dig underground and confer concentration and richness of salty and mineral elements, giving this wine considerable breadth, with elegant facets that clearly distinguish it from all the other wines we produce.
